Art of Mentalizing Conference 2016, Design Centre Gallery, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, New York, October 2016.

“This site-specific art installation provides a safe and inviting space with the opportunity for experiential insight to Mentalization. Our aim is to provide an aesthetic, sensory and reflective experience for a viewer. Akin to Art Psychotherapy, viewers have the option to engage with the art materials available inside the space. Curiosity surrounding the installation mirrors that of a client being inside or outside a therapeutic space. The installation is made by curating white, soft materials within the existing location. Similarly to an Open Art Psychotherapy Group, this installation encourages a viewer to reflect upon their engagement with the art materials, the space and others present.”
