‘Break’
The Coffee Art Project exhibition took place as part of The London Coffee Festival 2016 at The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane, London: From 7th-10th April.
Artists were invited to submit an original piece of artwork that represents a creative, unique and personal connection to the concept of ‘coffee’ or a ‘coffee shop experience’. The event also raised money for Project Waterfall.
My painting below is of a construction worker having a necessary coffee break. I was inspired by the concepts or warmth, energy, sociability, and this ‘on the go’ concept of coffee. This painting captures a workman taking time out for his comfortable and energising cup of coffee.
